Description

El thyme essential oil It is obtained from the leaves and flowering tops of Thymus Vulgaris by steam distillation. In our store you can find available both the White Thyme essential oil such as Red Thyme essential oil.

Differences: White and red thyme oil

First, it is very important to mention that red and white thyme are derived from the same herb and manufactured in the same way. The choice really depends on the needs of each one, being basically the same product but with a different distillate: white thyme vs. red

  • El red thyme essential oil is obtained after first distillation process. This is a very concentrated liquid that contains all the natural elements of the plant but in high quantities (due to the high concentration of the oil).
It is a brownish-red, orange-red or greyish-brown liquid, rich and powerful, sweet and with a warm herbaceous smell, somewhat spicy and clearly aromatic.
    • red thyme oil It is recommended for more intensive treatments and specifically for topical application. We strongly recommend not using it during pregnancy or on young children under 6 years of age.
  • El white thyme essential oil is a second distillation on essential oil of red thyme. It is more liquid, less concentrated, and also less potent than red thyme essential oil.
The color of white thyme oil is pale yellow with an odor similar to red thyme, but somewhat sweeter, less terpene or pungent. It is also less herbaceous.
    • white thyme oil is recommended for daily use in aromatherapy.

Frankincense Oil

Honestly, this oil gives me a smell like varnish, it's not a bad smell, the truth is that at first it seems strange, but then it gives a very good touch. I have only used this as an oil diffuser and for me, at least, its smell relaxes me a lot.

It smells great

Without a doubt, this oil smells very good, that smell of fresh mint and with a sweet touch. I use it for the diffuser and also mixed with base oil for massages, since it helps to relax the muscles and has anti-inflammatory properties.
