Description

El Safflower oil It is a vegetable oil 100% pure and natural, which is obtained by pressing the seeds of the plant by expulsion Carthamus tinctorius, a relative of the sunflower. This plant, one of the first used by humans, was essential in the production of red and yellow dyes, essential for ancient Egyptian textiles. Also, in some parts of Asia aphrodisiac properties were attributed to it.

Its use in coloring dyes is reflected in its botanical name, and it is commonly known as a variant of the "Saffron Flower". Historically, it was used as a seconomical substitute for saffron, leading it to be called "False Saffron". Currently, its uses range from the food industry to cosmetics, highlighting its skin regenerative properties.

With acids such as Oleic and Linoleic in its composition, safflower oil stands out for its light texture y easy absorption without leaving a greasy feeling. ANDs odorless and has a light, almost transparent tone. These characteristics make it perfect to be incorporated into various beauty formulations, since it does not alter the aroma or color of the final products.
