The indicative dosage of candle combustion enhancer is 0,2% to 0,4% on the total weight of the wax.

The exact amount depends on the type of wax, the fragrance used, the aromatic charge, the colorant, the wick, and the desired burn behavior. We recommend always starting with the lowest dose and increasing it only if the formula requires it.

How to incorporate it into the formula:

1. Melt the wax according to the temperature recommended for your type of formulation.
2. Add the combustion enhancer to the melted wax.
3. Mix slowly and steadily until a homogeneous dispersion is achieved.
4. Add the colorant and fragrance following your usual formula.
5. Pour the candle at the appropriate temperature for the wax used.
6. Allow the candle to cure according to the type of wax, container, and fragrance.
7. Perform a combustion test before manufacturing more units.

Important: This additive does not replace wick testing. The final burn depends on the balance between wax, wick, fragrance, colorant, container, pouring temperature, and curing time.

Pro tip: Always conduct a small-batch test before producing large quantities. More additive does not necessarily mean better results.
