Description

braided and rectangular cotton wicks, also known as cotton wicks, are designed for the manufacture of handmade and decorative candles. Made with 100% natural unwaxed cotton, guarantee uniform and stable combustion, adapting to various types of wax, such as beeswax, paraffin and vegetable waxes, including soy waxes.

Each roll has a length of 5 meters and includes metal supports (wick holders) at the base to facilitate placement in molds or containers, ensuring a firm and centered fixation.

El braided and rectangular design of the wick allows for better absorption of the wax, which promotes a constant combustion flow and a stable flame. Thanks to its natural composition, it helps to minimize the emission of soot and residue, providing a cleaner and more efficient combustion.

Additionally, its unwaxed structure allows the user to customize the waxing process depending on the type of wax and fragrance used, making it ideal for making custom candles.

We have reviewed your order and the reference purchased is N4, which corresponds to the smallest diameter in this range, as specified in the measurement table of the product sheet.

This is exactly the same N4 drill bit that we also sell in a waxed version, manufactured by the same Spanish supplier, but in this case it is offered unwaxed for those who prefer to wax it themselves or use it, for example, in certain work with molds.

Precisely because it is an unwaxed wick with an N4 diameter, it is normal that it is thinner and more flexible than a waxed wick.

As for the wick holder, the wick is not fixed simply by inserting it into the holder: once placed, it is necessary to close/tighten the metal neck of the wick holder very well to hold it correctly.
This is because the wick holder is universal and designed to accommodate various wick thicknesses, starting with size N4. In fact, if you purchase our waxed wicks in the future, you will find that the same wick holder model can be used with several different wick sizes, also starting with size N4.
