Organic Thyme Hydrosol (Thymol)

• In cosmetic mists and toners: incorporate as part of the aqueous phase of the formulation, alone or combined with other hydrosols or water-soluble ingredients, according to the developed formula.
• In gels and lotions: use as a component of the aqueous phase, adjusting the amount incorporated according to the gelling or emulsifying system and the other ingredients of the preparation.
• In shampoos and hair formulations: it can be incorporated into the aqueous phase of shampoos, hair tonics and other preparations intended for the cosmetic care of hair and scalp.
• In clays and cosmetic masks: it can be used as part of the liquid phase to hydrate or disperse clays and other powdered cosmetic ingredients within the preparation.
• In compresses and aqueous cosmetic preparations: it can be used as a liquid component of the formulation, alone or combined with other water-soluble ingredients depending on the preparation developed.
• In body formulations and aftershave products: it can be used as an aqueous ingredient when it is desired to incorporate into the formula the characteristic herbal, phenolic and spicy aromatic profile of Thymus vulgaris.
• In DIY cosmetics: incorporate according to the chosen formula, respecting the proportions, the manufacturing procedure and the characteristics of the final product.

As this is an aqueous raw material, the final formulation must include an appropriate preservative system when necessary. The pH, stability, and compatibility of the ingredients must also be verified according to the type of preparation being made. This raw material is for DIY cosmetic formulations. The incorporation percentage, preservation, pH, and safety of the final product will depend on the specific formulation and its intended use.

It is recommended to carry out preliminary tests in small quantities before producing larger batches.

These components are naturally part of the aromatic fraction from the distilled plant matter and are identified in the analysis as the main components of the essential oil present in the hydrosol.

• Safety information: BIO Thyme Thymol Hydrosol is not classified as a hazardous product according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
