Description

El Arnica macerated oil is a vegetable oil It is obtained by macerating the flowers of arnica (Arnica montana) in a carrier oil, such as sunflower oil. Maceration is carried out by letting the arnica flowers rest in the oil for 40 days, allowing the active components of the plant to transfer to the oil and form a concentrated extract.
Arnica is a flowering herb native to cold, rocky regions like Siberia and Eastern Europe. It is sometimes called "the mountain daisy" because its yellow-orange flowers resemble common daisies. For centuries, arnica has been used as a homeopathic treatment for skin, scalp, and hair conditions, among others.

  • Blood circulation stimulants

What is arnica oil used for?

Arnica oil is characterized by containing in its composition sesquiterpene lactones, which have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. These compounds are credited with the possibility of helping reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

On the other hand, the components of arnica oil stimulate white blood cells to dissolve clotted blood and condensed fluids in injured tissues, thus preventing the formation of bruises and scars.

Arnica essential oil is commonly used to speed healing and promote general well-being. Some of the more common uses include:

  • Bruises/bruises and wounds. Arnica oil is useful in helping to restore broken blood vessels. It is traditionally used to reduce the appearance of bruises and speed the healing process of minor wounds. Arnica oil is applied topically to the skin in the affected area. Its active compounds, such as sesquiterpene lactones, are credited with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that help reduce swelling, pain, and accelerate the fading of bruises/hematomas. Additionally, arnica oil stimulates blood circulation, which can help speed up the healing process of wounds.
Es important emphasize that arnica oil should be used on closed wounds and never on open wounds or irritated skin. Before use, it is recommended to perform a sensitivity test on a small area of the skin, as well as follow the appropriate instructions for use.
  • Carpal tunnel pain. Arnica oil can be used as a complementary treatment to relieve the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. The anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties of arnica oil are believed to help reduce swelling and relieve pain in the wrist and hand. It is recommended to gently apply arnica oil to the affected area and massage gently to help its absorption.
  • Sprains, muscle pain and general inflammation. Arnica essential oil is considered a very potent remedy for inflammation and lesions associated with exercise. It is a first choice among athletes, as the topical application of arnica is shown to be effective in reducing pain caused by inflammation and muscle damage.
Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties can help relieve pain and reduce swelling associated with these conditions.
One of the chemical components of arnica oil, thymol, is an excellent vasodilator of subcutaneous blood capillaries, promoting a healthy flow of both blood and other body fluids. Thanks to this effect, the presence of white blood cells essential for the healing process of muscle tears, injured joints and any other inflamed body tissue is activated. This is one of the reasons why arnica oil acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent, supporting and enhancing the body's healing processes.
