Description

El Ravensara essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Ravensara Aromatica, a plant native to Madagascar, highly aromatic, and has been used for generations for its toning and antiviral properties. Ravensara oil is light in color with a tinge of yellow and has a slightly medicinal, eucalyptus-like, slightly sweet and fruity odour.

NOTE: It should not be confused with Camphor, or Ravintsara, also endemic to Madagascar, since they come from different trees.

Powerful antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral, used to treat internal and skin conditions. Ravensara essential oil is used in aromatherapy to treat ailments caused by excess mucous and phlegm in the respiratory tract;
Reduce fatigue, relieve stress, improve sleep quality, relieve headaches, increase cognitive function and improve mood, thanks to the high content of estragole (approximately 80%);
improve general well-being, thanks to the limonene content (3%).

It has an incredible smell. It smells like orange blossom, but it's not citrusy at all; it's soft and creamy.

Benzoin

A resin essence used as a base note in perfumery. It has a softer aroma than cedar, which is why I prefer it. These are very high-quality essences.

It has a woody and spicy, yet soft, scent with a slightly peppery note. I've used it as a base between other fragrances when making homemade perfumes, and it's of good quality. I recommend it as a base or heart note.
