Description

El Palo Santo essential oil es 100% pure and natural obtained by steam distillation of wood bursera graveolens. Palo Santo essential oil has a light to pale yellow color and a thin consistency (light texture). Palo Santo Essential Oil offers a warm, woody and slightly sweet fragrance, with balsamic and fruity touches. Its mild aroma distinguishes it from white sage, although both are used for similar purposes.

Palo Santo: History and Origins

Palo Santo, whose name literally means "sacred wood," comes from the same botanical family as incense (frankincense) and is found primarily in South America. Since ancient times, the indigenous people of this region have used it in their ceremonies to purify the aura and protect themselves from negative influences. This spiritual oil, traditionally used by the Incas, serves to purify and cleanse the spirit of adverse energies.
