Tangerine essential oil

El mandarin essential oil, 100% pure and natural, well known for its warm, sweet and citrus aroma, it is obtained from its peel by compression.

Since ancient times, essential oils were commonly used in rituals and as part of traditional medicine. Native to southern China and the Far East, the mandarin was brought to Europe in 1805 and to America in 1845.

What is mandarin essential oil used for?

• Soothing effect: acts as a relaxing agent with the ability to reduce emotional imbalances, reduce anxiety and depression.
• Add a couple of drops to your aroma diffuser and enjoy the calming properties of natural mandarin oil!
• Add a few drops of mandarin oil to your favorite base oil (almond oil, jojoba, Vitamin E, etc.) and massage your body. Recommended use 1 drop of tangerine oil by every 5 ml of base oil.
• Antiseptic and antifungal effect:
• It is a great remedy for acne and skin impurities; 
• It helps to treat dandruff, dry scalp and other hair infections;
• Prevent stretch marks: mix 1 tablespoon of almonds oil (or other base / carrier oil) with 1-2 drops of mandarin essential oil and with 1-2 drops of lavender or neroli oil and massage the desired area. Do not forget that after applying tangerine oil it is not convenient to expose yourself to the sun!
• For House cleaning: Thanks to its antiseptic property, it helps to disinfect and clean the house. Add a few drops of mandarin oil to your cleaning cloth and wipe the desired surfaces.

• Natural mandarin oil is one of the few oils that can be used in case of pregnancy because it helps prevent stretch marks.

What is the difference between Citrus Reticulata and Citrus Nobilis?

• Mandarin o Mandarin Red Oil - Citrus reticulata, have un sweet and bright citrus aroma that is similar tol from the orange but not so sugary and a translucent dark orange color. Mandarin is a perfectly balanced citrus fruit that is neither too sweet nor too tart.
• King Mandarins - Citrus nobilis, It is a tree of the citrus family, hybrid of mandarin (Citrus reticulata) and orange (Citrus x sinensis). The oil has un fresh and crisp citrus aroma and a pale yellow color.
